My prior issue was with a team member who made a "joke" to my wife stating basically that "pets are better than kids". The owner was adamant that his staff members have been there for almost 10 years or something. It's my experience that someone holding the same job for ten years may show some complacency when dealing with clientele. Although I appreciate the services rendered, I may not return to this veterinarian because I don't want to give them the ability to "burn" me again in the future.

This vet used to be amazing. I have taken all of my animals here and have loved the service because I felt they were honest and loving and treated my pets like their own pets. But since the change in their vet owner the customer service is horrible. The secretaries are always snotty to me and I do not appreciate it. What ever happened to customer service? The vet himself is fantastic but the service from the secretaries is horrible. They have been rude to me over the phone several times and rude in person. They treat me like I am stupid and act like I am in the way of them doing their job rather than acting as if I am the center of their job if that makes sense. I am seriously considering changing vets which breaks my heart. Dr. Sheller was amazing- even coming out to my vehicle to let one of my babies go to heaven. He is greatly missed and will never be replaced. Especially if this staff cannot get their act together. If I acted the way these ladies act at my job I would be fired on the spot. There is no place in my world for such disrespect!!

How to make it better: Provide the costs of services in writing prior to scheduling an appointment or procedure. Be mindful of what you feel is a joke because others may not share your sense of humor. Kudos to the owner for offering an apology.

I used this vet from 2003 until October of 2015. It was a great place until the Miller's took it over. In August 2015 we had taken our sweet dog in because her nose was bleeding. She continued to have these nose bleeds despite medication given to her. The last appointment we ever had was with Dr. Ryan Miller in October 2015. That was the day he said, with a small laugh, that she most likely had cancer. Any doctor that can even snicker with that statement does not love animals. That was the day I decided he only cared about the money, and not the welfare of our sweet animals. We had to put our sweet dog down in November of 2015 due to her cancer. I since have found a wonderful vet that is passionate and truly loves our animals. I will NEVER trust these people with another one of our animals. Dr. Shelor is truly missed!!!

Dr Miller(s) and their entire staff is super friendly. The Doctors invest the time to listen to the issues and explain the choices. Treatment prices were very reasonable and the follow-up was included. Thanks from us and Maverick

I've been against writing negative reviews in the past, but I feel my last two experiences warrant one. Today, I picked up my pet after a neutering and was given a bill of $235.00 but I was quoted $195.00 after my last appointment in June. When I told the staff what I was quoted they disagreed with everything I said about my quoted price, but I am not wrong about what I was told; $165.00 for the neutering and $30.00 for vaccinations. When I got home, I called the owner and explained my situation, which I feel did nothing.

I can't say enough good things about them, I switched a couple of years ago to them, I have to drive 15 miles, but it's worth it to get our own furbabies and our grandpuppies better treatment. Prices are great and we just love the staff, so caring. When my service dog of 9 years had terminal cancer they helped me make her last month as comfortable as possible and were just so caring and helpful.
